It's Showtime At The Good Guys' Cool Car Show!
It's a part of the California state of mind. As a springtime rite of passage, the Cali car culture and it's millions of devotees do it with enthusiasm, style and panache every spring. Car clubs and fanatics get together at small confines like Rosie's Cafe Benicia every Tuesday evening, downtown Rodeo every Fridays but the big ones gather all the car lovers occassionally. Blog your friends for the 15th annual Good Guys show at month's end. Like last March HUGE show, It'll be a mass of car crazed humanity continuing the fun at the Get Together Rod and Custom Show with over two thousand custom cars and over thirty thousand car fanatics in attendance.

Health experts say barbershops are ideal gathering places to educate African American men about taking care of their health. As a part of its commitment to promoting good health in the community, the Vallejo chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority joined the cause and opened several mini-screening clinics at several shops in hopes of getting Black men to see their doctors regularly.

Wild Dance Explosion At The Summer Sizzlin' Nights!
Over a decade ago, it all started with a small Happy Hour party spark then it ignited to a huge party explosion in recent years. This year, the Cinco de Mayo Feisty Fiesta celebration will again blast the dance festival. Wild, it'll be! Year after year, the SF bay area's hottest place every Thursday evening is at the Pleasanton Hilton's Sizzlin' Summer Poolside Party Zone. Then the vibrant party atmosphere called Thursday Live! moves indoors to nearby ShBoom San Ramon from 8pm til midnight. The party goes on with an assortment of premiere party bands lined up. Do come, get it on, dance and live it to the max.

It's show time! and out comes the bling-blinged beauties. The gleaming and gorgeous machines are in P-town! The parade of vile Vettes, lead sleds, fancy 55's, hemi'd Mopars, carnivorous Camaros, rat rods, terrible 32's, wild woodies, mean Mustangs, tricked-out trucks and a cavalcade of custom cars of all year and models will be showcased. Part of the nostalgic blast from the past will be the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights of old school dance events happening at independent venues.
